The Vietnam War was unique in that it was a large scale war where the majority of the combat was of a small scale tactical kind. There were few set piece battles. This makes it the ideal subject for skirmish wargames based on squad to brigade size actions.
Chiltern Miniatures has a wide range of Vietnam War figures including US Grunts, US Marines, Vietcong, NVA and various character sets. All feature different mixes of kit, helmets and weapons and allow wargamers to create various combinations of units for their skirmishes.
