Little Big Men Studios Shield Transfers

Chiltern Miniatures now sell Little Big Men Studios rub down shield transfers. The above photograph shows some of the early Roman shield designs that are available. The only parts of the shields that  have been painted are the rim and the boss. All the highlighting, shading and wood grain effects are printed on the shield transfers.

NEW RUB OFF SHIELD TRANSFERS
There are some excellent water slide shield transfers out there! So why buy these new rub off transfers from "Little Big Men Studios"?

Firstly they are rub off transfers. So no need for dishes full of water, transfers curling up at the edges and having to float it into position. This can all be very frustrating and time consuming. With the rub off transfers you simply cut them out, peel off the backing paper, place them into position and press down firmly. Peel away the protective top layer and the transfer is in place!

Secondly the new transfers are fully shaded to look like they have been hand painted. All you need to do is paint the boss and tidy up around the edge of the transfer with the appropriate paint colour and the job is done. Fantastic looking shields can be achieved by anyone with the most rudimentary of painting skills and in a short period of time.

28mm shield designs are sold as a set of 12 transfers at £3.00 per sheet, except for Banner and Heraldry sheets which cost £10.00

20mm shield designs are sold as a set of 42 - 48 transfers at £5.00 per sheet

15mm shield designs are sold as a set of 42 transfers at £3.50 per sheet, except for Banner and Heraldry sheets which cost £10.00

In all cases postage and packing is £1.00 for UK, £1.50 for Europe and £2.00 outside Europe.

At present we carry transfers for Wargames Foundry, A & A Miniatures, Artizan Perry Miniatures, Essex, HaT and Black Tree Design figures. The full range covering 25 historical periods and warriors, together with a gallery showing some made up examples of the shields,  can be seen by clicking on the navigation buttons below.
